Golden State Sportfishing is owned and operated by Captain Joey Gamez. There are currently two boats in operation. The first is a 30′ Design Concept wheelchair-accessible boat, with a large fishing area, heated cabin, enclosed bathroom, and fully equipped with a Garmin navigational system and fish finder. The second boat is a 25′ North River Scout equipped with a 250 Mercury outboard tiller with prop. Garmin 12″ fish finder and live scope! This boat is used for Delta charters are out of Pittsburg Marina in Pittsburg, CA.
San Francisco’s waters offer excellent fishing for all. Our fishing charters are designed to provide a fun and comfortable experience for anglers of all skill levels and ages. We carry a maximum of 6 passengers, guaranteeing each guest the simple luxury of elbow room and the personal attention of the captain.

A day on the water with Captain Joe starts with meeting at the dock at your designated time, followed by a quick check of your fishing license, and a brief description of the day’s agenda before it’s off to our favorite fishing spots. As your charter comes to an end, we will clean your fish upon return to the dock.
